| Take your time you have a few months :-)
Choose a name that will be appropriate for your child as an adult.
They told me to pick a name that would justify Heavenly's heritage. We are religious and she was sent from god so the name Heavenly Faith was chosen.
Ask your other kids. If you really like a particular name, don't ask others for advice.
Don't tell anyone (especially your friends or family) the names you are considering. It will only lead to unwanted advice, comments and criticisms. Also, if you find out the sex of the baby before it is born, keep that to yourself as well.
Keep the names which are not hard for people to pronounse and understand and don't keep long names.
Think about the name before bestowing it on your child. Would you want this name for yourself? Would it be a source of embarassment for your child? Never give a child a name which would cause him or her to be beaten up on the playground!
Choose an unusual name for your child, because it will give your child their own idenity.
Names are important. A name should sound cool and be unique.
Say and write the full name and initials several times to make sure it sounds right together and the initials do not spell out anything strange. Also, beware of any nicknames that may result from the name you choose.
Start thinking about it early.
I think that it is important that you name the child what you like but take into consideration he or she will have it for life. Also don't let well meaning family and friends pressure you into a name you arent crazy about.
Angelique and Scarlet are such beautiful names for girls!!!!!!!! I suggest using a really old fashioned Middle-Ages or Renneisance name! One that has a nickname possibility. For example: I LOVE Victoria, but if they hate it they could use Vicci or Tori. But mostly I suggest Angelique or Scarlet.
My only advice is for you to pick a name you like. Don't just base your decision on other peoples opinions. Trust your own taste.
Just go with what feels right. My husband and I argued for months and only decided for sure the moment that we first saw our child that it was the right name.
